Our Team

Loves to convene people to cause system-level change. Comfortable in conflict, thrives in the frontier. Four time business entrepreneur. Senior advisor to Governor Cox where he led efforts to aggressively upgrade state government efficiencies. Led in the Governor’s creation and implementation of the One Utah Health Collaborative and the Office of Families. Prior to that, he co-led the state’s Unified Command during Utah's COVID-19 pandemic response as the Executive Director of the Utah Department of Health.

Passionate about creating collaborative, community-led solutions that allow individuals to thrive. Skilled at organizing solutions to complex problems. Spun up the U of U campus COVID testing program during the global pandemic. With a background in law and healthcare administration, Cameron has led the creation of operations and partnerships in support of presidential initiatives at the University of Utah. He grew up in Utah, lives in Lehi, and attended the University of Utah as an undergraduate.

Kevin is a first-generation high school and college graduate who grew up in West Valley City. Coming from a single-parent, immigrant household, he’s learned to navigate the intricacies of our social and educational systems which have molded him into a community advocate and experienced public health professional. His experiences include leading several regional and statewide initiatives to improve public health and bridging gaps, serving on various community and state coalitions and boards, and being actively involved as a first-generation mentor for students and upcoming professionals.

Melissa es primera generación, madre y defensora de la salud pública. Creció en el centro sur de Los Ángeles y ahora reside en West Haven, Utah. Her journey navigating healthcare and educational spaces has helped her dedicate her time to ensuring unsheltered community members in the Salt Lake Valley have access to healthcare. Her role as a pathway’s navigator is to connect community members to resources and educational pathways. She loves spending time with her family, traveling and going to concerts.

Rooted in his upbringing in West Valley City, Tan's academic journey at the U of U embodies a fusion of interdisciplinary studies in health policy, health communications, and global health, all geared toward promoting equity and innovation. Through an array of diverse roles across the healthcare industry, Tan has cultivated a continuously evolving comprehension of the intricate dynamics and profound complexities inherent in this field. This has reflected in his role to condense the depth of information found across the sector.
